Hi there!

Now that we are fully into Spring I love to pull out bright colors from my wardrobe. Fuscia is such a fun pop of color to wear, and this new Vince Camuto top from Nordstrom is perfect with its flowy quality and bell sleeves which are right on trend. This top can be dressed up or down and is perfect for Day into night. I styled it two ways in the photos above: with blue jeans and grey studded Valentino flats and a matching studded purse in black to give it some edge and my hair swept back into a low ponytail. This was more of an evening look with a pink & rhinestone JCrew outlet statement necklace to dress up the top. Not shown in the photo was the leather jacket I wore over it all.

In the other look I had a daytime park date and I wore the same fuscia Nordstrom top with Express dark wash jeans and changed the shoes to a new pair of fuscia Nine West outlet suede lace-up sandals and an oldie but goodie Chanel purse of mine. I just wore earrings with no necklace and wore my hair down and natural for abmore flirty easy daytime feel.

Enjoy the beautiful Spring weather, and have some fun with color and a flirty spring trend like the bell sleeve:)

Hi there!

In my photos above I was inspired by some old Audrey Hepburn photographs I wanted to steal the look and feel from and re-create in a more modern way. I love the look of a classic Chanel-inspired tweed blazer with pockets, and Audrey's 1960s style is also so iconic in her skinny jeans, turtlenecks and loafers. So I combined the loafers and jeans with a classic silk bow and button-down blouse and topped it off with a white shimmery blazer in a Chanel-inspired look.

This Chanel-inspired blazer was an EBay find from a small boutique that hand made blazers, and they had so many beautiful ones to choose from! Many shops such as JCrew, Ann Taylor, Zara, and department stores like Bloomingdales have a variety to choose from.

My black silk blouse with bow front detail and a low neckline, and buttons in the front is by Rachael Zoe Collection, from a couple seasons back. It's one of my wardrobe staples that was worth investing in because I'll wear it again and again, so getting some high quality staple pieces is always worth it! The skinny jeans are Express and they fit me so well. I go through jeans so quickly that I stopped buying designer jeans (though if I go designer I LOVE Rag & Bone).

My accessories are my Rock Stud Valentino bag that I have been toting everywhere lately, accentuating the gold and black in my look, and a great pair of Steve Madden sparkly gold loafers. Metallics can be worn as a neutral to me, they are very much in fashion, and they are always a fun statement piece to add onto a more conservative look like this one. If you're thinking of shopping now is the time when many sales are happening so head to websites and stores and see what bargains you'll find! I am also a stylist so feel free to message me if you need wardrobe help, style advice, or personal shopping services.

Hi there!

While on holiday vacation in San Antonio, TX with Francisco's family we went for a night walk on the river walk to see the Christmas lights, and it was a fun background to shoot this look.

In the look above I styled a black mesh long t-shirt with stars on it from Forever 21 with a black tank underneath, and a vintage red pleated leather mini skirt, black tights, and my oldie but goodie Vince Camuto black biker boots with gold buckles. I topped off the look with my Valentino rock stud bag.

The star trend is such a fun look to wear on any item of clothing, and can have an all American feel. I went a little more edgy and playful in the mesh top with a pop of red leather in my skirt and black accessories. I also love it worn preppier or all American like on a pair of cowboy boots! Free People has an ankle bootie with stars on it in different colors that I'm lusting after right now!

I hope everyone is enjoying the snowy weather:)

Hi there!

Happy New Year! I hope you've all had a wonderful holiday break. I certainly did getting to see my family in CT and Francisco's in San Antonio, TX. While in Texas we took the time to photograph my new Huminska boutique "Huntress Green" "Greta" dress. I have been looking for the perfect velvet dress and this color is really flattering on most skin tones including mine. It hugs the body in the right places and I love the peekaboo detail just below the collarbone with the bow that can wrap around the neck or on the chest. The ruffle on the bottom adds a lovely silhouette too. Huminska is a beautiful little boutique in the East Village of Manhattan. All dresses are designed by the owner and made in the garment district. They are pricey but will last and are easy to wash. I fell in love with this dress and had to have it. It feels good to shop local too!

I styled the dress with my new grey Valentino rock stud flats, and my new  Furla purple gummy purse with gold chain strap, which my Godmother just gifted me from Paris. I am in love with my new little purse! It is very versatile and such a cute size. It can be dressed up or down and is perfect with a dress to go out. Even though the holidays are over there is plenty of opportunity to dress up and go out, and velvet is a perfect of the moment trend that can still be worn after the holidays.

Hi there!

I was recently invited to the first Conscious Dinner in NYC (they have had them in different cities such as LA before, but will be starting them in NY now as well) last week and it was such a fun event I thought it would be fun to blog about it...and what I wore, of course.

The event was hosted by Integral Fitness and held at Tournesol Wellness, a space for holistic wellness including primary care benefits of everything from Reike practitioners to Herbologists, Yoga and Meditation, etc.  As we checked into the event we went into the kitchen of the space downstairs and had a wonderful vegan meal including kombucha and coconut water stations, and a tea and herbal liquid elixir station where I bought some mushroom immunity and some sleep tea.

Afterwords we stepped upstairs and signed up for different rooms and experiences.  Francisco and I and my friend Lindsey (who has an awesome new blog all about sustainable clothing) experienced everything from an improv room to Reike, Herbology, and a talk about being our truest selves.  The other rooms also included astrological readings and sound therapy.  It was so much fun!

My outfit incorporated a huge trend at the moment: velvet.  In these Free People pants I always feel like a rockstar.  I styled them with a silky H&M blouse and Free People silver rose and red suede tassel bolo tie which also looks great as a choker, and my Aldo studded booties I wear all the time.  My new Rock Stud Valentino purse rounded out the outfit.  It was a beautiful night for velvet since it is such a cozy fabric especially for the holiday season, and it feels festive for parties.  Since this was a more casual party, velvet pants and a top felt just right.  I also wear it in dresses, shorts, and tops.  How do you wear it?

Army Green and Blush Pink

In my W by Worth top, Zara long vest, H&M skinnies, Valentino rock stud flats, and Rebecca Minkoff purse while strolling Park Ave.  Photography by Francisco Graciano.

Hi there!

Lately I have been really loving the color combination of army green paired with a soft blush pink or baby pink.  As you can see by my outfit above, I paired my W by Worth new spring 2016 top (the one I purchased after my recently blogged-about visit to the showroom) with my cream and blush pink cheetah print H&M skinny jeans.

The details of the same outfit up close and personal

I then accessorized the top and pants with an army green long vest I bought recently from Zara, and my favorite Valentino cream and pink rock stud flats.  My bag is an oldie but goodie I scored a couple years ago at a Rebecca Minkoff sample sale.  I love the cream and black color combination on it with the big bow on the front and metal chain link hardware on the strap: another great example of girly meets rock and roll.

This time of year the flowers everywhere in New York are stunning, and my Upper East Side neighborhood is no exception with the blooming trees and tulips on the ground.  A perfect colorful setting to shoot this look.

Off the Shoulder Trending for Spring

Hi there!

One of my favorite trends this Spring is the off the shoulder trend. It looks effortless, bohemian, and sexy without trying too hard.  Exposing the shoulder is a subtle and elegant way of showing a little skin and feeling feminine in your clothes.

In the outfit pictured above I paired a baby blue off the shoulder top I recently bought at Zara with my older Zara pink moto jacket, Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply ripped boyfriend jeans, Valentino rock stud baby pink flats, and my new Balenciaga Mini City purse.  The long necklace is also an older piece from Free People that I just love.

Once again I decided to play with feminine touches mixed with a little edginess in the studs on the shoes and on my bag, the motorcycle jacket, and a ripped baggy boyfriend jean to offset the girly pastel colors and flowy off the shoulder top.

Francisco and I went to dinner at Sugar Factory in the Meat Packing district after our High Line stroll, and it was delicious.  I have a sweet tooth and that restaurant has the best drinks and dessert options.  We opted for the peanut butter and chocolate fondue! Later in the weekend I ventured to dinner and drinks with friends at Cata in the Lower East Side for my birthday as well as dinner at Spice Market on a separate night with my girlfriends I've known since I was in middle school who came into the city to visit.  Last weekend was the perfect birthday weekend and I really couldn't have asked for more!
